In this season,the colors mainly used were high in chroma colors.The cloths looks sharp and eye-catching.Of course,Lacroix still used the match of Black and White,it was part of his design of this collection.

First of all,we can found achromatic scheme,which are the match of black and white easily in Lacroix's collection.As people know that,there is a big contrast between black and white.Like the pictures show on the above.The dominant color is black,but Lacroix added the white accessories on the cloth.It made the image become rich.

Larciox not only used the achromatic scheme,but also the mono-chromatic scheme.It only used one hue,but they are different in value.It made the cloths contain with shades and tints.Like the pictures show on the above.

In addition,Lacroix used other color scheme,it is the Analogic and Complimentary Color Scheme.It use the colors at 120 degree around the color wheel.In this case,Lacroix used Red,Green and Violet.We can see that,red and violet is analogic color,green and violet is split complements,but green and red is complementary color.So the whole image seems rich and harmony.

In this season,the theme color was tint color.We can found most of cloths were made up with low in value colors.This kind of colors can represent Spring and Summer perfectly.

Firstly,the picture show on the top,the dress was include white,light brown and brownish orange.They are the tint colors and they are low in value.The difference between of these colors are less,so it made the whole image become peaceful.

Secondly,we can see another dress also used the same way to make up.The above picture show that the dress contain with white,light pink ,light violet and rosy red.Pink and red are type of warm color.Also,they are bright and low in value.So it make the whole image become harmony.

Besides used the same value of colors,Lacroix also used the other combination of colors.For example,orange match with blue,they are the colors which opposite on the color wheel.It is the complementary color scheme.Although they are in opposing color,Lacroix only added little part of bluish violet in the central front.So it still make the whole image became harmony.

Last but not least,Lacroix also used the analogic color scheme.Lacroix used the light pink and the light violet.The dominant color was pink,Lacroix added violet and light violet on the dress.It made the whole image become harmony but plentiful.

Firstly,although most of colors used were tints,Lacroix made different match to enrich them.One of the color scheme that Lacroix used was mono-chromatic scheme.Like the pictures shows above,the dresses look seems only contain one color.However,by changing the chroma,it seems different colors appears on the dress.



Secondly,Lacroix also match different colors.These colors were in same value,but they are not the same hue.The colors were tints.It made the bright image appeared.


Lacroix also used the complementary color scheme.Take the above picture as an example,the match of light yellow and violet.Not only they are in same value,but also colors opposite on the color wheel.We can see that light violet only print on the skirt partly.It can make a contrast,but it still harmony.

In this season,the dominant color was Black and White.Most of cloths are used Achromatic scheme.The combination of black and white, it made a strong comparison.However, it was the most classic complementary colors.

As we can see the first picture,Lacroix used black,white and grey as the dominant color,but he added the red accessories.The dominant colors are low in value,but the red is high in value, it made the whole image became rich but harmony.

Secondly,besides using achromatic scheme, by different value,Lacroix made a series of harmonious.For example,black,grey and blue,these colors are shade.They are the same value,so it made the whole image became balance.

In this case,Lacroix used green as the dominant color.It used the mono-chromatic scheme.He used the same hue,but they are in different chroma.Although it was only one color,because of the change of the chroma, so it looks rich.

Besides used the mono-chromatic scheme,Lacroix also used the achromatic scheme.It was the most common color scheme that can found in Lacroix's design.the match of white,grey and black,most people think they are cool and steady.
